1. On 15th of December 2021,India's Union Minsiter of Youth Affairs and Sports, Anurag Thakur inagurated Khelo India Women's Hockey league at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi.

The league holds the cash Prize of 30 lakh for the winner.
A total of 14 teams are competitng in the first phase of the tournament and 42 matches will be played during the first phase 
2. Manoj Mukund Naravane: Army Chief General M. M. Naravane has assumed the charge as the chairman of the Chiefs of Staff Committee that comprises the three service chief.
After the death of General Rawat creating an unforseen situation, the role has fallen on General Naravane shoulders.


When the post of CDS was created with General Rawat taking charge on January 1st 2020, the CDS has been appointed as the Permanent head of the committee, the first among equals - the four - star chiefs.

3. TVS Motors and BMW Motorrad joins hand for the manufacturing of EVs.
The companies are planning to launch its first electric Two-Wheeler within the next 24 months. This collaboration has resulted in three products on the 310cc platform : BMW G310 R, BMW 310 GS and TVS Motor Company's TVS Apache RR 310.

TVS Motor is the latest in a series of legacy two-wheeler manufacturers in India who have entered the EV space in recent times, after Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India announced their plan to introduce an electric scooter in the next financial year. 

4. NASA's spacecraft touches the Corona of the Sun. NASA's spacecrat touched the outer surface of the sun's upper atmosphere.
For the first time in Histroy in 2018 NASA launched the Parker Solar Probe aiming to unravel the mysteries of the sun by travelling to closer to it.
It made its way through an extreme environment which is roughly 2 million degrees Fahrenheit.



5. DRDO conducts first flight test of indigenously developed surface-to-surface missile ‘Pralay’ of 150-500 km range, from Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha.
This missile can be launched from a mobile launcher.
India earlier also tested Agni class of Missiles, Agni P which has canisterised missile with a range between to 1000 - 2000 Km.

6. North Korean Banned for laughing for 11 days to commemorates the 10th year anniversary of the death if Kim Jong Un father.
