- Mitchell Starc has been a key left-arm fast bowler for Australia for over a decade, following in the footsteps of Mitchell Johnson.

- Starc is known for his ability to swing the ball at high speeds, using his 1.96m height to generate bounce. 

- His best performance came during the 2015 World Cup, where he was named Player of the Tournament after taking 22 wickets with an average of 10.18. He continued his dominance in the 2019 and 2023 World Cups, becoming the leading wicket-taker across all World Cups.
