12. On 14 October 2024, Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari reaffirmed the government's commitment to ethanol blending and biofuel initiatives at the 12th CII Bioenergy Summit 2024 in New Delhi.

13. Smt. Punya Salila Srivastava, Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, spoke at the annual India Leadership Summit 2024, hosted by the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum.

14. General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), is visiting Japan from 14th to 17th October 2024, to enhance defence cooperation between India and Japan.

15. Surgeon Vice Admiral Kavita Sahai, SM (Sena Medal) and VSM (Vishisht Seva Medal), took charge as the Director General of Medical Services (Navy) on 14 October 2024. She was commissioned into the Army Medical Corps on 30 December 1986.
