What is this Recruitment?

 Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the centralized notification CEN 06/2025 for Graduate-level Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) posts.

These include: 

* Station Master

* Goods Guard / Goods Train Manager

* Traffic Assistant

* Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor

* Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist

* Senior Clerk cum Typist

  and other graduate-level posts.

Vacancies and Pay Details 

* Total Vacancies: Approximately 5,810 (Graduate-level only)

* Pay Scale: ₹25,500 – ₹35,400 (depending on the post and pay level as per 7th CPC)

Eligibility (Graduate Level)

Educational Qualification:

* Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

* Typing or local language skill may be required for certain posts.

Age Limit: 

* 18 to 33 years (as on 01 January 2025).

* Age relaxation as per government rules (SC/ST/OBC/PH categories).

 

Selection Process and Exam Pattern 

The recruitment process consists of multiple stages: 

1. CBT-1: Preliminary Computer Based Test (objective type).

2. CBT-2: Main Computer Based Test for shortlisted candidates.

3. Typing Skill Test / Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT): For specific posts.

4. Document Verification and Medical Examination.

 

Negative Marking: 0.33 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.


Subjects generally covered in CBT: 

* General Awareness

* Mathematics

* General Intelligence and Reasoning

1. Visit the official Railway Recruitment Board website (regional RRBs).

2. Click on “Apply Online for CEN 06/2025 (Graduate Level)”.

3. Register using your valid email ID and mobile number.

4. Fill in personal and educational details carefully.

5. Upload your photograph, signature, and required documents.

6. Pay the application fee online (if applicable).

7. Submit and take a printout of the confirmation page for reference.

 

Documents Required: 

* Degree certificate

* ID proof (Aadhaar / PAN / Voter ID)

* Caste or category certificate (if applicable)

* Passport-size photo and signature


Salary Range 

The pay levels for RRB NTPC Graduate posts generally fall between ₹25,500 and ₹35,400 per month, plus allowances like DA, HRA, and TA as per Railway rules.
