SSC Combined Graduation Level Exam 2022 Age Limit

 SSC Combined Graduation Level 2022 has closed the application receiving process, this year SSC has offered a vacancy 20,000 posts in various departments/ministeries/offices and all the Exams will be conducted in Two Tier. Computer Based Exam - I and Computer Based Exam - II. Also if the exams are conducted in shifts then the Normalization will also be applied to the Exam. The last date to apply for SSC CGL Exam 2022 has been closed and no application is being received now.

SSC CGL 2022 Age limit and Relaxation

Requirement of age for various posts is as follows:

  1. Age Limit: For the posts for which age limit is 18-27 years
    Remarks: Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1995 and not later than 01-01-2004.
  2. Age Limit: For the posts for which age limit is 20-30 years
    Remarks: Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1992 and not later than 01-01-2002.
  3. Age Limit: For the posts for which age limit is 18-30 years
    Remarks: Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1992 and not later than 01-01-2004.
  4. Age Limit: For the posts for which age limit is 18-32 years
    Remarks: Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-190 and not later than 01-01-2004.

Relaxation in upper age limit for SSC CGL 2022 and category-codes for claiming age relaxations are as follows:

  1. Code no.: 01
    Category: SC/ST
    Age-relaxation permissible beyond upper age limit: 5 years
  2. Code no.: 02
    Category: OBC
    Age-relaxation permissible beyond upper age limit: 3 years
  3. Code no.: 03
    Category: PwBD (Unreserved)
    Age-relaxation permissible beyond upper age limit: 10 years 
  4. Code no.: 04
    Category: PwBD (OBC)
    Age-relaxation permissible beyond upper age limit: 13 years
  5. Code no.: 05
    Category: PwBD (SC/ST)
    Age-relaxation permissible beyond upper age limit: 15 years
  6. Code no.: 06
    Category: Ex-Servicemen (ESM)
    Age-relaxation permissible beyond upper age limit: 3 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date.
  7. Code no.: 08
    Category: Defence Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof.
    Age-relaxation permissible beyond upper age limit: 3 years
  8. Code no.: 09
    Category: Defence Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof.

    Age-relaxation permissible beyond upper age limit: 8 years

Additional permissible relaxation in upper age limit for Group 'C' posts

  1. Code no.: 10
    Category: Central Govt. Civilian Employees who have rendered not less than 3 years regular and continuous service as on closing date for receipt of application.
    Age-relaxation permissible beyond upper age limit: Up to 40 years of age
  2. Code no.: 11
    Category: Central Govt. Civilian Employees (SC/ST) who have rendered not less than 3 years regular and continuous service as on closing date for receipt of application.
    Age-relaxation permissible beyond upper age limit: Up to 45 years of age
  3. Code no.: 12
    Category: Widows/Divorced Women/ Women judicially separated and who are not remarried.
    Age-relaxation permissible beyond upper age limit: Up to 35 years of age
  4. Code no.: 13
    Category: Widows/Divorced Women/ Women judicially separated and who are not remarried (SC/ST).
    Age-relaxation permissible beyond upper age limit: Up to 40 years of age
