- The 20th Divya Kala Mela, a national-level fair dedicated to Divyangjan, was inaugurated on 28th September in Pune.
- 20वीं दिव्य कला मेला, जो दिव्यांगजन को समर्पित एक राष्ट्रीय स्तरीय मेला है, का उद्घाटन 28 सितंबर को पुणे में हुआ।

- The event is organized by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.
- इस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन भारत सरकार के सामाजिक न्याय और अधिकारिता मंत्रालय के अंतर्गत दिव्यांगजन सशक्तिकरण विभाग द्वारा किया गया।

- The National Divyangjan Finance and Development Corporation (NDFDC) has sanctioned loans worth ₹2 crore to Divyangjan under various schemes.

- Union Minister Sh. Nitin Gadkari inaugurated the Oxygen Bird Park in Nagpur, Maharashtra.

- The park, spread across 8.23 hectares, combines a bird habitat and recreation space, with 2.5 hectares reserved for social forestry.
- यह पार्क 8.23 हेक्टेयर में फैला हुआ है, जो पक्षी आवास और मनोरंजन स्थान को जोड़ता है, जिसमें 2.5 हेक्टेयर सामाजिक वानिकी के लिए आरक्षित है।

- It features rare trees, a lotus pond, reed bed, bambusetum, and palm plantation to attract birds and enhance ecology.

- The Indian Navy Quiz - THINQ24 began with the first elimination round on 10 September 2024.

- A total of 12,655 school teams registered for the national-level quiz competition, undergoing three elimination rounds, concluding on 25 September 2024.
- राष्ट्रीय स्तर की इस क्विज़ प्रतियोगिता के लिए कुल 12,655 स्कूल टीमों ने पंजीकरण कराया, जिन्होंने तीन चयन प्रक्रियाओं में भाग लिया, जो 25 सितंबर 2024 को समाप्त हुई।

- The shortlisted schools will participate in the zonal rounds on 14-15 October 2024, conducted in online mode.

- The semifinals and finals of THINQ24 will be held at the Indian Naval Academy in Ezhimala, Kerala, under the Southern Naval Command on 07 and 08 November 2024.

5. ‘Vayu Veer Vijeta’ car rally from Thoise in Ladakh to Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh

- A mega 7,000-km long ‘Vayu Veer Vijeta’ car rally is being organized from Thoise in Ladakh to Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh to mark the 92nd anniversary of the Indian Air Force (IAF) on October 08, 2024.
- 7,000 किमी लंबी ‘वायु वीर विजेता’ कार रैली थोइसे, लद्दाख से तवांग, अरुणाचल प्रदेश तक आयोजित की जा रही है, जो भारतीय वायु सेना (IAF) की 92वीं वर्षगांठ को 08 अक्टूबर 2024 को मनाएगी।

- Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh will send off the rally from the National War Memorial, New Delhi, on October 01, 2024.
- रक्षा मंत्री श्री राजनाथ सिंह 01 अक्टूबर 2024 को नई दिल्ली के राष्ट्रीय युद्ध स्मारक से रैली को विदाई देंगे।

- The rally will be formally flagged off from Thoise, one of the world's highest altitude air force stations at 3,068m above mean sea level, on October 08.
- रैली को 08 अक्टूबर को थोइसे से औपचारिक रूप से झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया जाएगा, जो कि समुद्र तल से 3,068 मीटर की ऊँचाई पर स्थित दुनिया के सबसे ऊँचे वायु सेना स्टेशनों में से एक है।

- The rally will culminate at Tawang on October 29, 2024.

- The aim of the rally, organized by IAF in coordination with the veterans of Uttarakhand War Memorial, is to raise awareness about the glorious history of IAF and the valour of air warriors.

6. Jan Vishwas 2.0 bill

- The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) is working on about 100 rules and laws to bring the Jan Vishwas 2.0 bill for a better ease of doing business in India.
- उद्योग और आंतरिक व्यापार के संवर्धन के लिए विभाग (DPIIT) देश में व्यापार करने की सुविधा को बढ़ाने के लिए जन विश्वास 2.0 बिल लाने के लिए लगभग 100 नियमों और कानूनों पर काम कर रहा है।

- The Government of India enacted the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2023, to support the "Make in India" initiative.
- भारत सरकार ने "मेक इन इंडिया" पहल का समर्थन करने के लिए जन विश्वास (प्रावधानों का संशोधन) अधिनियम, 2023 को लागू किया।

- The primary objective of the Act is to decriminalize minor offences across 42 Central Acts, eliminating 183 criminal provisions across 19 Ministries/Departments.
- अधिनियम का प्राथमिक उद्देश्य 42 केंद्रीय अधिनियमों में छोटे अपराधों को गैर-आपराधिक बनाना है, जो 19 मंत्रालयों/विभागों में 183 आपराधिक प्रावधानों को समाप्त करता है।

- A key aim of the Jan Vishwas Act is to remove outdated provisions that do not fit the evolving technological and business environment.

- The Act was passed by the Lok Sabha on July 27, 2023, the Rajya Sabha on August 2, 2023, and received presidential assent on August 11, 2023.
- यह अधिनियम 27 जुलाई 2023 को लोकसभा, 2 अगस्त 2023 को राज्यसभा में पारित हुआ और 11 अगस्त 2023 को राष्ट्रपति की स्वीकृति प्राप्त की।

- It aims to promote trust in businesses and citizens, streamline legal processes, and reduce the burden on the judiciary.

7. 10th Year of Renewable Energy Generation

- Neyveli Lignite Corporation India Limited (NLC India Limited), a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Coal, Government of India, is celebrating its 10th year of renewable energy generation.
- नेयवेली लिग्नाइट निगम भारत लिमिटेड (NLC इंडिया लिमिटेड), कोयला मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के तहत एक नवरत्न सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र का उपक्रम, नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा उत्पादन के 10वें वर्ष का जश्न मना रहा है।

- The milestone is marked on September 28, 2024, as the company began its renewable energy journey by commissioning a 10 MW solar photovoltaic power plant in Neyveli on September 28, 2015.

9. PM to inaugurate projects worth over Rs. 11,200 crore in Maharashtra on September 29
9. PM 29 सितंबर को महाराष्ट्र में 11,200 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक के परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन करेंगे

- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate projects worth over Rs. 11,200 crore in Maharashtra on September 29 at around 12:30 PM via video conferencing.
- प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी 29 सितंबर को दोपहर लगभग 12:30 बजे वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से महाराष्ट्र में 11,200 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की लागत वाले विभिन्न परियोजनाओं की आधारशिला रखेंगे और उद्घाटन करेंगे।

- He will inaugurate the Pune Metro section from District Court to Swargate, marking the completion of the Pune Metro Rail Project (Phase-1), costing around Rs. 1,810 crore.
- वे पुणे मेट्रो सेक्शन, जिला न्यायालय से स्वारगेट तक का उद्घाटन करेंगे, जो पुणे मेट्रो रेल परियोजना (चरण-1) का पूर्ण होना दर्शाता है, जिसकी लागत लगभग 1,810 करोड़ रुपये है।

- The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the Swargate-Katraj Extension of Pune Metro Phase-1, costing approximately Rs. 2,955 crore, which will be completely underground with three stations.

- He will dedicate the Bidkin Industrial Area, covering 7,855 acres, under the National Industrial Corridor Development Program, with a total project cost of over Rs. 6,400 crore.

- The Prime Minister will inaugurate the revamped Solapur Airport, improving connectivity for around 4.1 lakh passengers annually.

- President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, inaugurated the first edition of Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav at Rashtrapati Nilayam, Secunderabad, on September 28, 2024.
- भारत की राष्ट्रपति, श्रीमती द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने 28 सितंबर, 2024 को राष्ट्रपति निवास, सिकंदराबाद में भारतीय कला महोत्सव के पहले संस्करण का उद्घाटन किया।

- The festival is organized by Rashtrapati Nilayam in collaboration with the Ministry of Development of the North-East Region and the Ministry of Culture.
- यह महोत्सव राष्ट्रपति निवास और उत्तर-पूर्वी क्षेत्र के विकास मंत्रालय तथा संस्कृति मंत्रालय के सहयोग से आयोजित किया जा रहा है।

- The festival showcases the cultural heritage of North-Eastern states: Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura.
