INS Satpura and P81 participated in largest Multilateral Naval Exercise

Indian Navy's indigenous frigate INS Satpura and P81 LRMRASW took part in one of the largest multilateral naval exercise at Peral Harbour in Hawaii. This multilateral naval exercise is known as Rim of the Pacific exercise, it is also known as RIMPAC. INS Satpura reahed Hawaii on 27 June 2022, the P81 aircraft arrived on 2 July 2022. The crew from the INS Satpura and P81 aircraft also visited the historic museum ship USS Missouri and paid homage to fallen soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice during World War II at USS Arizona memorial. INS Satpura and P81 maritime patrol aircraft are participating in the exercise which spans over six weeks of intense operations and training which aim at enhancing interoperability and building trust among Navies of Friendly foreign countries. NTPC group companies done record breaking power generation in Q1 FY 23

NTPC: National Thermal Power Corporation group companies achieve over 21.7 % growth in power generation in Q1 FY 23. The companies recorded generation of 104.4 BU in the first quarter from April to June 2022. It is an increase of 21.7 % from 85.8 BU generated in the corresponding quarter last year. In the month of June 2022 , generation was 34.8 BU, higher by 29.3 % compared to 26.9 BU in June 2021 indicating improved performance and an increase in demand for power in the current year. Orissa's NTPC Talcher Kaniha (3000 MW) is the best performing thermal power plant with 94.2% Plant Load Factor(PLF) between April to June 2022. Talcher Super Thermal Power Station or NTPC Odisha is located in Angul district of Odisha. It is a coal based Power Plant with the capacity of 3000 MW. Indian Air Force in Tactical Leadership Programme with Egyptian Air force

IAF  to participate in Tactical Leadership Programme with Egyptian Air Force As from report published on PIB. Indian Air Force would be participating Tactical Leadership Programme at Egyptian Air Force Weapon School from 24 June - 24 July 2022 in Egypt (Cairo West Airbase). It is a one month joint programme of Indian Air Force and Egyptian Air Force which will convened at Egyptian Air Force Weapon School in Egypt. Indian Air Force will Participate in this joint programme with three Su-30 MKI aircraft, two C-17 aircraft along with 57 IAF personnel (Including C17- Contingent). It is a unique exercise with Air Assets in Large Force Engagement environment, simulating various scenarios which can occur in war.It is a friendly exercise which is aimed at enhancing defence cooperation between the two countries and exchange of best practices. This Tactical Leadership Programme will also provide India an opportunity to showcase the Su-30 MKI manufactured in India by HAL.

Short range surface to air missile which will strike its enemy aiming vertically successfully tested by DRDO and Indian Navy

Vertical Launch Short Range Surface to Air Missile (VL-SRSAM) Vertical Launch Short Range Surface to Air Missile (VL-SRSAM), is the name of the missile which has successfully flight tested by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Indian Navy on 24th of June 2022. The name of this missile is Vertical Launch Short Range Surface to Air Missile (VL-SRSAM), it has been successfully tested off the coast of Odisha. The testing has been conducted by Indian Navy and DRDO from an Indian Naval Ship at Integrated Test Range(ITR), Chandipur off the coast of Odisha. * The image used here is for representational purpose only. The VL-SRSAM is a ship borne weapon system which means it loaded on a ship which or near the coast which can target various air borne attacks which come very closer to base as this missile is Vettical Launch, which means targeting its enemy form very closest distance.
