Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Awards announced for 2021

Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Awards   Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports announces Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Awards for year 2021. The award will be given away by the President of India Draupadi Murmu on 30th of November at Rashtrapati Bhawan. The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports announced this National Adventure Awards for the year 2021. This award will be given in four categories : Land adventure, water adventure, air adventure and Life Time Achievement. Group Captain Bhawani Singh Samyal will be conferred with Life Time Achievement Award, Shubham Dhananjay Vanmali with Water Adventure and Naina Dhakad with Land Adventure. They will receive statuettes, certificates and award money of 15 Lakh rupees each. Indian Olympic Association is going to get its first women president

PT Usha has been elected unopposed as President of Indian Olympic Association. She was the only one contender and was elected after no other nominations were filed till the deadline on Sunday. The elections were due to be held in the month of December. The 58- year old Usha, a multiple Asian Games medallist and a fourth-place finisher at the 1984 Olympics 400 m hurdles final, filed her nomination papers for the top job yesterday, along with 14 others from her team for the various posts. PT USHA P T Usha has became the first Olympian and first international medallist to head the IOA in its 95 year old history. It will also add another feather to her cap after dominating Indian and Asian athletics for two decades before retiring in 2000 with a bagful of international medals. INDIA INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR 2022 has started

  The 41st edition of the India International Trade Fair (IITF) has started at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, India on 14th November 2022. Piyush Goyal, Commerce and Industry Minister inaugurated the fair. The fair will continue till the 27th of the month. Bomb blast in Turkey led to killing of six people and many injured

A sad news coming from Turkey that at least sex people have been killed and 82 injured in an explosion in a busy area of central Istanbul. The name of the place is Istikal street in the Takism Square where blast happened. The blast happened on Istikal street in the Takism Square area yesterday afternoon, November 13.  According to report publish on a web-news portal, Turkish Vice-President Fuat Oktay said the blast is thought to be a terrorist attack carried out by a woman. Till now no terror origanization has claimed responsibility for the blast so far. Istikal street, one of the city's main arteries which is usually packed with shoppers, was previously targeted by a suicide bomber in 2016. 41st India International Trade Fair

  The 41st Imdia International Trade Fair (IITF) will begin today, November 14, at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. Commerec and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal will inaugurate the fair, which will continue till the 27th of November. This year the theme of the trade fair is Vocal For Local, Local to Global. The 14-day mega event assumes a special significance as it coincides with celebrations of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav'. Twenty-nine States and Union Territories are participating in the event.
