Story: Shera aur Bahlu

Shera bade aaram se khana kha kar apni jhopdi me so gya tha, uski biwi kuch der baad bartan dho kar sone aa gayi, lekin kuch pal baad hi unki neend khul gayi, neend khulne ki wajah thi baarish jo aadhi ko acchanak hone lagi thi. Baarish ke saath hawa bhi itni tej chal rahi thi jiski kisi ne ummid bhi na ki hogi. Kuch der baad wo apni gahri neend me so gaye. Jab wo andar apni jhopdi me so rahe they to bahar jungle me se ek bhalu baarish se bacchta hua unke jhopdi ke paas aa gya, bhalu ne apne aap ko bachane ke liye jhopdi ke piche bane ek aur jhopdi me ghus gya jahan shera apni gaayo ko bandhata tha. Bhalu ko is samay bhuk nhi lag rahi thi, wo to abhi apne aapko baarish se bacha raha tha. Accha jagah panaah milne se wo bhalu bhi wahi so gya.

Subah jab Shera ki neend khuli to bahar baarish ki wajah se jame paani ko dekh ke chauk gya uske turant baad wo apni bandhi gaayo ko dekhne pahucha. Wahan wo ek bhalu ko soya dekh pehle to chauka phir uske baad wo shanti se wahan se nikal gya. Usne aakar apni biwi ko ye baat batayi aur ye bhi bataya ki gaay abhi bhi surakshit hai shayad bhalu baarish se bacchne ke liye wahan aa kar chhup gya hai. Ab wo is soch me they ki agar bhalu ki neend khuli aur wo gaayo ko apna shikar bana liya tab to unka bahut nuksaan ho jayega. Shera ko ek tarkib sujhi aur usne wo tarkib apni biwi se batai. Jungle ke sannate me gaonwalo se bacch kar bhalu jungle ke sabse lambe ped pe chhad gya, par gaonwale ye jaante they ki bhalu ko ped pe bhi chhadna ata hai isliye wo jyada der unse bacch nhi paya. Ab bechara bhalu karta to kya karta. Tabhi use door me kuch gaadiya jaati hui dikhai di, bhalu wahan pahuch gya, khush-kismati se us gaadi me van-vibhag ke kuch karamchhari baarish ke baad jungle ka jayza lene nikle they. Unhone pehle us bhalu ko dekha aur fir ye bhi dekha ki bahut saare log us bhalu ki talaash bhi kar rahe hai. Van-vibhag ke kuch karamchhari un logo ke paas gya aur unhe samjha bujha ke unhe wapas ghar bhejne me kamyab ho gaye wahin unhone bhalu ko bhagate hue surakshit jagah pe bhi pahucha diya. Aur is tarah Shera aur gaon-walo aur bhalu ki jaan me jaan ayi.

Moral of the story:

Sujh bujh se kaam liya jaye to jaan bacchai bhi ja skti hai
